Funders

IIDS and CHDI are actively seeking core funding and endowment grants from institutions and individuals who understand the importance of human development and value the role of think-tanks in engendering action and results. Such funds will reduce CHDI's dependency on consultancies and will allow it to engage in priority activities it has established as important, thereby helping to enshrine it's intellectual objectivity and independence.

Some of the funders that have contributed to the mission, goals, projects of IIDS/ CHDI include the Governments of the United States and India, and the Ford Foundation.

CHDI will not receive any funding (either directly or through funded projects) from political parties, religious and/ or ideologically driven organizations.

Individual contributions are accepted.
